Young Infants
6 Weeks to 9 Months
The first months of life are filled with wonder and discovery — and our infant program is designed to embrace that. In this classroom, the theme is communication, connection, and care.
Our teachers engage with each baby through constant interaction — talking, singing, reading, and responding to their sounds and movements. These small moments help develop language, trust, and emotional security.
Sensory activities, tummy time, gentle music, and soft textures stimulate brain development and motor skills. Every routine — whether feeding, diapering, or playtime — is filled with love and positive attention.
We also value open communication with parents. Families receive daily updates, photos, and activity reports through our parent communication system, ensuring you stay connected to your baby’s day and progress.
Older Infants
9 Months to 16 Months
As babies begin to crawl, stand, and walk, the world becomes a playground of discovery! Our “Older Infants” room focuses on movement, exploration, and early independence.
Children are given safe spaces to move freely and explore using push toys, activity tables, and soft play equipment that build balance and coordination.
We introduce basic sign language (like more, milk, please, eat, and thank you) to help little ones communicate before they can speak. Teachers use songs, books, and repetition to encourage understanding and speech development.
Milestones are carefully tracked, and daily communication keeps parents involved in every step of their child’s journey.
Toddler
16 Months to 24 Months
Toddlers are curious explorers, full of energy and imagination. This stage marks an exciting transition to more structured routines and social learning.
Our toddler program introduces circle time, where children sing songs, read stories, and learn about colors, shapes, animals, emotions, and body parts. Through repetition and fun, we help them build early vocabulary and comprehension.
Each day includes a mix of art projects, outdoor play, sensory exploration, and group games. These activities encourage fine motor development, problem-solving, and early social skills such as sharing and cooperation.
We continue to build independence, teaching toddlers how to express themselves and manage simple routines like washing hands or cleaning up after playtime.
Twos
24 Months until Potty Trained
The “Twos” classroom is full of exciting milestones — especially potty training! Our teachers work closely with each family to maintain consistency between home and school, helping every child succeed at their own pace.
This age is also when children begin learning early academic concepts like letters, numbers, and simple counting. We introduce basic writing and drawing to strengthen fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Our daily schedule includes creative crafts, hands-on activities, and outdoor play to build confidence and social interaction. As children grow, they begin to follow directions, take turns, and enjoy small group learning experiences.
The “Twos” room is where children start to see themselves as capable, independent learners — ready for the next big step!
Preschool
3 Years to 4 Years
Preschool at Naz Home Childcare is where learning and imagination come alive! Our curriculum blends academic readiness with social and emotional growth, ensuring children develop well-rounded skills for pre-kindergarten and beyond.
We focus on letters, numbers, phonics, shapes, and colors, along with creative lessons in art, music, science, and storytelling. The classroom is organized into centers — like blocks, dramatic play, and reading — where children learn through play and collaboration.
We also introduce beginner Spanish and continued sign language to expand communication and cultural awareness. At this stage, children begin developing strong social bonds, learning empathy, teamwork, and self-expression through fun group activities.
Our teachers create a loving, stimulating environment that encourages children to ask questions, try new things, and take pride in their accomplishments.
Pre-Kindergarten
4 Years to 5 Years
The Pre-K program is the final step before kindergarten — a time to polish skills and build confidence for the exciting journey ahead.
Here, we focus on school readiness, reinforcing literacy, math, science, and writing skills through hands-on learning. Children practice sight words, journal writing, themed projects, and early math concepts in a fun, engaging way.
We also place a strong emphasis on critical thinking, creativity, and communication, encouraging children to express their ideas clearly and confidently.
Our teachers nurture independence and problem-solving through guided activities that prepare children academically and emotionally for elementary school.
